This place is awesome. The decor is really cool. The service is great. Our server actually forgot to bring our drink but then she removed it from the bill and brought the drink anyways. We had the medium well grilled salmon and it was out of this world! The food was served piping hot. The complimentary hot bread rolls were very good as well.
I sat at the bar and it was amazing. Melissa and Katerina were incredible! They were friendly and welcoming. The food is outstanding. Definitely would come back anytime I am close to North Platte!
My husband and I were traveling to see family and saw the poster for North 40 Chophouse in our hotel elevator. We went and were pleasantly surprised. Our steaks were perfectly done with wonderful flavor. Another favorite was the homemade rolls, loaded mash potatoes and carrot muffins. Our dining experience was special because of our sweet, and personable waitress, Alexis! She even gave us a tour of the wine cellar. So cool! We will definitely be back.
On a road trip from Oregon to Missouri, stopped in North Platte to avoid a bad thunderstorm. The owner (Heidi) heard and welcomed us like family. Heidi is from Oregon also, and she started this great chophouse a few years ago. Here’s a secret, it was packed at 8:15pm on a Thursday night!! Had an aged Delmonico and an Old fashioned. Highly recommend.
Delicious food, expertly prepared (compliments to the chef!) and the service was fast, friendly and professional. Thank you for a wonderful finish to our vacation. Being grandparents, we didn’t mind dining with small children, but did have to contend with one loud patron in the next room.
Katerina has been a phenomenal bartender! She is always on point with the drinks, and is always very friendly. I had the dry aged cheese burger. The burger is without a doubt the best burger in North Platte. The flavor that explodes in your mouth with that first bite is mind blowing! Let's not forget the atmosphere, this is a very refined and comfortable place to enjoy a meal. The live piano has been a delightful and very enjoyable touch.
Wow! What a gold mine! Andrea, our server and the other staff, Dan and Mark, were outstanding!! We can’t say enough about how friendly, attentive; professional; and accommodating Andrea was. From the server to the managers, we were treated like royalty. If you haven’t been here, please put it on your list! The food was phenomenal; the service; the atmosphere were all top notch!! We will definitely be back! This is the best restaurant in every way! ❤️
Food was absolutely amazing. Even the starting bread was fantastic. Service was quick and polite, atmosphere was great. We stopped at North 40 Chophouse on a Sunday night last fall while driving back from Scottsbluff. We were able to walk right in and parking was easy. This is the kind of restaurant you’d expect in Omaha or Denver — not just off Highway 83 in Western Nebraska. The ambience is beautiful with tall, tin ceilings and a stunning chandelier. It immediately feels upscale and special. I ordered the 16-ounce ribeye (around $60), and it was outstanding — perfect marbling, perfectly tender, and seared with a bold seasoning that almost had a blackened crust. I ordered it rare, and it came out juicy and exactly right. Even the bread was melt-in-your-mouth good. Everything they brought to the table smelled incredible and tasted just as good. We skipped dessert only because we were completely full from the generous portions. Best steakhouses in North Platte. A wonderful place to eat on a chilly weekend night! Complimentary prosecco, and delicious muffins to take home afterwards!! Steak was delicious and perfectly prepared. Appetizers/side dishes were just aa good. Our server, Andrea, was gracious, cheerful and humorous. This was in late November and we have nothing but praise for this fine establishment!
